The very last show this legendary band played in the United States was in 1977. I was in the 9th grade, and unable to see them perform live, but was a huge fan. Last night we saw Classic Albums Live performance of Led Zeppelin II. Absent of being able to see the actual band perform, this was arguably the next best thing. Note for note, sound for sound, the ensemble of professional musicians played this iconic album live.
It was a spiritually moving moment for me, much like finally seeing Dave Mathews Band last year, singing along to every word. That feeling is comepletely and utterly intoxicating. Those experiences fill you up with something, not exactly sure we’ve adopted a single word, that covers the scope of all that, but the feelings are beneficial.
